Blurb:

Are you swamped with book marketing and looking for a way to find new sales? Learn simple and effective networking techniques, to grow your readership and connect with other authors and book lovers, today.

Whether you are a new or experienced writer, self-published or traditionally published, this book will show you how to grow your readership and author network, through some of the most powerful of all marketing tools - word of mouth and recommendation.

My Thoughts:

I’m always looking for ways to improve my own writing and marketing skills. I’ve found a few other indie authors to follow who are a wealth of knowledge, but it can be hard to find the time to research for more.

That‘s why I was so keen when this book popped into my review requests.

I don’t often read and review non-fiction, but this one seemed worth a go. I’m so glad I accepted, as it’s written in such a bite size, personable way that I know it’ll be a reference book I’ll use more as I learn and want to try out new ideas. It‘s split into various topics, all of which are short and written as if Lizzie is talking you through things - imagine almost a transcript of a YouTube video, for want of a better description - so it’s engaging and motivational.

There are sections on social media, branding and time management. The tips within this are so helpful if your like me, and may be struggling to prioritise writing and marketing alongside a day job and the general struggles that came with 2020.

Having help and advice in such bite size chunks breaks the whole thing down so that it seems more manageable and fun. Let’s face it, we all need manageable and fun just now.

Thanks so much to Rachel for inviting me to be on this blog tour and to Lizzie for sending me a copy to review. I’m looking forward to checking out the author’s fiction soon, and would recommend this to any other writers out there who love to learn more about their craft.
